Update from SE ASIA trip

Back in Sydney now and preparing for next weeks Steering Committee Meeting for the ASEAN Australia Education Dialogue.

We have confirmation from RMIT University Vietnam that President Prof Gael McDonald will be at Dialogue and will join the panel discussion on ASEAN Education Mobility.

Last week in Singapore I had positive discussions with representatives of the Australian International School, James Cook University, Curtin University, the SEAMEO Regional English Language Centre and the Head Foundation.We look forward to welcoming all to the Dialogue.

We are also focused on building links to the Australian business community in ASEAN . I have met with the Malaysia Australia Business Council in KL and AustCham ASEAN in Singapore. We will be finalising the panel to address the issues impacting on TVET and strengthening links with Business and Industry.
